I start out painting the shadow areas with a monocromatic color, usually a ultramarine blue, but it could be any color. I end up with a value painting. At this stage you can see if it is working or not. I then add the colors on top of that. I don't know if that answers your question or not, but that is my process.Kactiguyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04266598831378871626noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13197298.post-1133027213892294302005-11-26T10:46:00.000-07:002005-11-26T10:46:00.000-07:00Ilove the lighting used how could i achieve some c...Ilove the lighting used how could i achieve some close to that in my own work if you wouldn't mind sharing please.Perry Linton Joseph Osunahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16882826528435139740noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13197298.post-1132973594700124222005-11-25T19:53:00.000-07:002005-11-25T19:53:00.000-07:00Looks like you need to change the name of you blog...Looks like you need to change the name of you blog to "los tacos del gato"The Dally Llamahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14440560395767533380noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13197298.post-1132817461009765592005-11-24T00:31:00.000-07:002005-11-24T00:31:00.000-07:00They're both awesome! They're both awesome!idobcoolhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10046392985582563695noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13197298.post-1132792479222258262005-11-23T17:34:00.000-07:002005-11-23T17:34:00.000-07:00Really nice treatment with the colors and texture....Really nice treatment with the colors and texture. I was there a couple weeks back looking at the work and realized that one of the Flamenco dancers had TWO LEFT HANDS! It was a nice illustration otherwise, but I guess the artist got so wrapped up in the flailing arms and didn't realize until it was all over... if ever.

I guess whether or not they're cat tacos probably depends on what country he's in (was that in poor taste??)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
