Illustration Friday: Safe

I drew this during a meeting and all I had was a pen and a scrap of paper. Nothing great, but It'll have to do. Enjoy.

Groovie! I can just hear the cello strings plucking his approach!

Very nice! The rough, energetic linework reminds me somewhat of Edward Gorey's work (in a good way), and it has great atmosphere.

It is limitation that forces greatness out of people. I think that it is exquisitly executed.

Well, I think it was great! The composition and the proportions are just right, and the guy really looks like a thief! The best stuff are often made on scrap paper, I think that when you're not feeling the pressure of a perfectly white surface in front of you, you tend to make more spontaneous and fun sketches. Nice!

Great stuff, Guy! There's nothing quite like a good pen and ink doodle!

I love working with whatever you have available. It makes you think harder sometimes. This is a great sketch!

Awesome sketch, Guy! I've always loved that scratchy pen style, and you've pulled it off brilliantly.
