I painted Isaac Newton in this painting. See if you can find him (you will have to open it to see it better). It is an illustration from Mrs. McBloom Clean Up Your Classroom. I needed to fill up this classroom with all kinds of Mrs. McBloom's junk. She already had an apple tree, so I thought it would be fun to have Newton getting hit by a falling apple. Okay, it's an old painting, but it just seemed to fit the topic. I think I will do something else too. Enjoy

I love coming over to visit your blog and savor the colorful and delicious eye candy here. (I visit a lot more than I comment.) I just wanted to tell you my kindergartner brought home his library book this week and YOU illustrated it! It is Santa's Kwanza. I know, kids have no sense of seasonal timing, but the book is beautiful and fun anyway!
YIKES! what an amazingly complex but excellent illustration! I am truely impressed...
Wow...so much detail! great great work!

Wow, fantastic! So much to see here, I wish I had a teacher like that when I was still in school.
Soooo much to look at! It's wonderful. I can't find Newton though :(
Great, great! I love such busy illustrations. I think I've discovered where Newton is but I'm not going to disclose the secret yet.
This illustration makes me want to visit your blog over and over again. Great concept!

This is just so absolutely wonderful! She has quite an incredible classroom...and i did find isaac Newton on the wall with a apple poised above his head! There are so many things everywhere...I love the nest with the bluebirds. What fun! I have a big smile because of your painting:>>>>

At first I thought this was an illustration you just whipped off for IF, and I thought "sweet fermented turnip juice, this guy is a machine!" so I'm oddly relieved that this isn't the case. The sense of atmosphere is marvelous. Is this another of your gouache works? How big is the original? I want to pelt you with several more questions rapid-fire 5-year old style about this one. (I found Newton, by the way - made me laugh when I did...)
Wow! What a challenge for gravity her hairstyle is! Hahaha... I had a great time fooling around inside your illo :)
Hahha...this is tooooo cool. Hey..I spot a chicken there!
So much going on in this picture @_@
It's really amazing how you were able to tackle coloring this seriously busy picture. I'm digging the apple tree, the sunflowers, and Mrs. McBloom's beehive hairstyle.
I LOVE THIS. What a marvelous room to learn anything in.
The artwork must have taken ages to complete and I can appreciate that. This is one awesomely interesting illustration. What fun!

beyond beautiful! Amazing!
I picked this book up today at my daughter's school bookfare. I originally intended to give it to a teacher I knew whose room is as messy. But, after reading it and looking at the illustrations (for an hour), we decided to keep it and buy another for my friend. My favorite is the goat's license plate-I8ATRK!!! Your illustrations are too fun!
