Illustration Friday: Primitive


Ahhh crayons, the primitive tool of my youth. I took my kids out for pizza for my son's birthday tonight. They always ask how many kid's menus we need and I usually get enough for me too. Place mat menus, crayons and food-- an excellent combination.

I love this little cafe where the tableclothes are paper just for doodles! anyhow... good crayon yeilding!

My son gets disappointed if a restaurant we frequent has run out of crayons and kid menus!

There's an Italian place I go to where the whole 'table cloth' is a large piece of paper to draw on. However my doodles never turn out this cool.
