Old (Zombie) Goat

A couple students, Jed Henry and Jake Wyatt, stopped by yesterday for a little studio visit.  I was showing them how I prep paintings.  Jed told me to draw a goat, which didn't feel Halloweenie enough, so I made it a zombie goat.  It was mostly just a lousy sketch with some thin colors on it, but today I decided to finish it up.  I think it'll make a nice addition to the Gallery O' Terror.

Man, great texture. It really looks like you had fun doing this. Really fun treatment on the background too. I like how it feels terrifying.

This is just bizarre funny. A goat-zombie by itself is an awesome idea. But you've got him dressed as though just before he met his end he was on his way to his part-time at Best Buy. That's just really silly. I love it.

Somehow you can turn anything creepy or scary into hilarious. It's a gift.
