Illustration Friday: Focused

Or, in my case, unfocused. When I get working on a book, or any other big illustration project, I often lose focus. I guess I get tired of seeing the same characters or working on the same paintings day after day. So, to break up the monotony, I'll take a little break and do really quick sketches or paintings. This is one of those paintings. Doing this kind of thing seems to refresh the creativity and makes real work bearable, keeps me focused. It works for me at least.

Beautiful little painting! I can't help but be reminded of Finding Nemo with that clown fish pattern.

This is awesome for a distraction piece. The color and detail are unbelievable.

I know the feeling; I am easily distracted too. I have been working on my IF art while attempting to illustrate a book cover.

Great painting! Is it for sale? I have always wanted a Guy Francis original, and plus it would be perfect for my bathroom. Let me know
