The other night I attended a lecture by Mark Buehner. He is a very talented children's book illustrator and he has done some really great books. Some of his more recent books are "Snowmen at Night" and "Snowmen at Christmas". After hearing him speak and seeing his work, I got snowmen on the brain. I went to draw something totally unrelated but instead this came out. Happy holidays!

Very punny. I'm glad it all "came out" the way it did! I have a thing for snowpeople and I think you have a knack for drawing them. Way to go!
Where's the yellow spot in the snow left behind...just kidding. That would probably move you into the "gross" category of illustrators. And if this was at night...you could say this is what snowmen do at night. You've inspired me to come up with what I think snowmen do at night...I'm off to draw & paint.

red egg- I pretty much only use acrylics to paint. My sketches are done with a brown col-erase pencil.
