The duel continues. This pig looked better painted with real paint rather than digital, but the waterproof pen I used wasn't very waterproof. Fiddlesticks!

iphone sketch

I downloaded a little sketch program on the iphone. I think it's called Sketch Book X, from Autodesk. This sketch was the test drive. I haven't done finger painting for years. Kinda fun.

Random stuff

Here are a few doodlie-oodlies. Nothing exciting, but it is something to post. The color one was a very quick, unfinished coloring demo I did to show my class.

Illustration Friday: Wrinkles

Perhaps you just need a tighter ponytail.

This was a lame idea that popped into my head, so I did a very quick sketch with some slapped on color. Gross, I know, but I do like where her ear ended up.

Digital or Gouache

Just playing around a little bit. This first image was done in photoshop and the second was done in gouache. Each one took about the same amount of time. I can't figure out which one I like more. What do you think? One thing I learned is that my scanner isn't very accurate.
