Illustration Friday: Chair

I thought I might have time to do something creative, but it looks like all we get this week is a chair.

With all this talking about chairs, I couldn't help but notice that the cats in your header don't have anything to sit on. Hmmm.

It looks like you were as inspired as I was (mental block?). This weeks topic was harder than I thought. Nice job on the chair though. I really like your work and style.

What a lazy butt! Get with it, Guy. You could at least be as lazy as me and post something you're working on that happens to have a chair in it.

A sturdy chair, no doubt. Sometimes these IF topics are like dat ...

Your new banner is gorgeous, though I kinda missed the old sketchy one :-)

Simple and to the point. Even this I enjoyed immensely!

So inspired was I by the representational piece called "Chair", I wrote a poem about it.

CHAIR.
In G Minor.

Seething with contemptuous rage
Its hopes and dreams for naught
Doomed to sit earthbound fore’er
Never to be an astronaut

Watch the table fly to heaven
See the stool spin through the sky
But there beneath the bums and fannies
The chair can only cry.
