Illustration Friday: Clutter

Here are a few spreads from my book "Mrs. McBloom, Clean Up Your Classroom!". The whole book is about a teacher who never cleaned her classroom in fifty years. It is crammed packed with clutter. I couldn't resist posting them.

These couldn't be better suited to the theme. I love them. I can't stop looking and noticing more and more clever details.

Oh, that had to be so much to stick in more and more crazy things, even the kitchen sink! Well done.

If I already had something that fit so perfectly I would have used it too. Great great great illustrations. I must read the book.

Great stuff, Guy. I'll have to check out some of the books! Would also like to add you to my blog list if that's OK.

Hey Guy - these are too cool! I like the mushrooms growing on the books about fungus... Hey! - she has the same filing system as me! :)

Thanks for the presentation at UVU, I wish everyone were as much fun as you.

I love all the little details. it makes these illustrations so rewarding beyond the story that's in the text.

Perfect for clutter. I should just take a picture of my office right now. It still hasn't been put back together after the flooding down there.

Oh man, that's amazing. It's a lot more difficult to think of cluttery thing that one might expect. These pictures are really perfect.

And sadly it reminds me that I need to clean out my garage.

I admire all the details that you put effort into, and the great compositions. Regardless the clutter, the illustrations look well organized with your skills! ;)
