Illustration Friday: Mask

This is a little spot from my book "Mary Had a Little Ham". It is a story about a pig that leaves the farm to become an actor. It seemed to fit the topic this week. Here he is at his first cattle call.

Hilarious take on the subject. Nice title for the book as well. I've heard of "Mary had a little jam" but your title peeks my curiosity.

What a funny meeting.
I like the little pig the most.

Great image, and so good to see the udders loud and proud!
For some reason cow's udders in children's books seem to get hidden or discretely removed by Art Directors and publishers!
Most confusing for a child.

The cattle call is my favorite illo in this whole book! I love the cow that can't remember his lines. Simply hilarious! You had to have had the greatest time coming up with all these.
