Illustration Friday: Depth

I think I'm still in the Gallery O' Terror mood (last post) because I'm still thinking about spooky stuff. This is what I thought of when I read the topic this week. I scribbled it during church. It is based on a poem that a neighbor of mine wrote. It is great. I'll see if he will let me post it. This picture also reminded of a lawyer joke...because deep down they're good people.

Is it mandatory for lawyers to be buried 24 feet under? Just curious. Nice sketches!

Nice church drawing! Does it help you get through--er, I mean, listen to--the sermon? I draw the other congrants during sermon-time, though it gets old doing the backs of heads every Sunday. : )

Maybe he brought his grappling hook in his briefcase this time? The wife kept trying to make him remember...

(great drawing!)

So this is what church is for, and to think all this time I thought it was to catch up on the sleep that you missed during the week. Guess I'll have to start tucking a sketchbook and pencil in my Bible from now on. Absolutely love the long panel, great show :)
